Beacon of Faith
Capital Campaign
Our Lady of the Valley’s fundraising goal set by the diocese is $578,588. With their generous 50/50 split, we will be able to accomplish some much needed capital improvements to our property such as:
- New Signage at the Church and Cemeteries
- Additional lighting at the Church side walkway and at the Mary Grotto
- Replacement of the pillars at the entrance of St. Stanislaus Cemetery and clear land on the right side at the entrance
- Installation of decorative fencing at St. Brigid’s Cemetery
- Landscaping architecture on Church grounds
- Additional projects that may need to be completed

Bishop Byrne invites you, as a faithful member of the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Springfield, to bring your gifts and add them to the gifts of others to raise a minimum of $28,000,000. As a good steward, you are called to reflect on the abundant gifts you’ve received from God and how richly He has blessed your life. You are asked to consciously return to God those gifts in the same measure to help provide a foundation for the future of His Church.
Everyone is asked to be a part of this effort, but not everyone is asked to give the same amount. Your donation can be made as a pledge payable over four years on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. Reminders will be mailed to your home based on the pledge plan you select.

Thank you for the continued participation we are seeing in our campaign, as we have, as of May 17th, raised $382,500 from just 94 of our close to 600 active families.
If we are to succeed in our effort, we must participate on a level that will help us achieve our goal of $578,588. We are asking all of the faithful members of our parish to please consider a four-year pledge. Over the course of four years, a weekly sacrifice of $10, $15 or $20 to strengthen the church will go a long way in the toward caring for priests, educating our clergy and lay leaders, getting people back and into the pews through evangelization efforts, strengthening our Catholic Schools, and of course, the maintenance and care of our beloved Our Lady of the Valley Parish!
We are asking all families to please consider making a four-year pledge today. Pledge cards are in the pews and at the back of the church.
May the generosity of the faithful at Our Lady of the Valley truly reflect our solidarity in the One Body in the Western Mass region.
