From time to time, aspiring young artists are moved by the shear beauty of the Mass (or perhaps by the erudite Homilies?) to produce wonderful works of art.  Here are some of the more recent offerings from the pews of Our Lady of the Valley.

Comment:
The artist deconstructs the exterior of the Church and then accents its iconic towers, spires and crosses.  Note how the outline of the Church clearly separates its sacred space from the rest of Universe as represented by the halo of stars surrounding the edifice.

Comment:
Whereas 'Church Exterior' celebrates the silhouette of the Church and how the walls of the Church create a boundary outside of which the rest of the universe exists, in 'Church Interior' the artist takes away the concept of walls all together and places objects in an interior universe.  Once again, the cross motif is prevalent.
