The Pint, The Pipe & The Cross!
The Chesterton group meets on the third Tuesday of the
month 7:00p at the OLV Rectory to discuss the thoughts and writings of the English
apologist, writer and journalist, G.K. Chesterton. All are welcome.

Meeting
Dates:
A typical evening begins with a prayer followed by each participant
offering a G.K. Chesterton quote (don't worry if you haven't had time to
read some Chesterton and find a quote, you can find some really good one's
on the
Quotations
page of the
American Chesterton Society).
After we finish with the quotes, all bets are off!
Be prepared for a lively evening of free flowing conversation ranging over
literature, theology, science, politics and, oh yes, the thoughts and
writings of the Apostle of Common Sense, G.K. Chesterton.
We've also been known to discuss the writings of Chesterton's close friend
and collaborator Hilaire Belloc, as well as C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien and
anyone else the participants happen to be reading at the time.
So come on over to the OLV Rectory for a good old fashioned
bull session, on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00p.
To get an email reminder about upcoming meetings contact our Chesterton
Group president,
Fr Doug McGonagle, to get on the mailing list.
